"Cruel Little Ballads" is an anthology of ten short stories, far too short to reveal us the past and the future of the involved creatures, or that of humans who, often for the worse, are subject to their actions. Only their present time we allowed to know. A time where mortals meet ancient creatures who punish their arrogance and the cruelty humans so often revel in. Some of the stories have a strong ethical and environmental message, while others' only goal is to tell fantastic situations with a strong imprint from original folklore ballads. Ten little ballads, beyond the veil of reality, where the lovely and ferocious Children of Nature live. Tales far too short to reveal us their future of their past story. Only their present we are allowed to know.
